In April 2009, my mum was having a scan. The clever people in the hospital realised that I was struggling in her tummy and really needed to be out in the big wide world.
If I had understood what was happening, I might have been a bit frightened but I was only 1lb 7oz and should have still had another 3 months getting ready.
My mum was taken in an ambulance from Surrey to Norwich where I was born.
I’ll be 10 this year and I’m so thankful to everyone who helped me. I spent 3 months in intensive care and now I can live like any other little girl my age. I like trampolining and gymnastics and reading books.
But I know it would have been better if I had been inside mum for the full time and I am pleased that she is helping raise money to help other boys and girls be born at the right time.
I would be really pleased if you would support my family as we raise money for Tommy’s
Thank you for reading my story and for giving your money.
Lots of love
